About Poole Running Lab

Poole Running Lab was founded in 2024. Being a Running Coach in Oregon, our mission is to help other runners reach their true potential. We strive to help you take your running to levels you haven't seen before. We don't use a cookie cutter/peanut butter spread method on your training plan, or for anyone. Each and every runner receives personalized, 1:1 training plans and treatment. We create individualized plans that follow a progressive overload approach.

Through the Final Surge Application, coach will load in your workouts weekly and comment on each training session you complete. You are able to sync your GPS watch to the app so there is seamless tracking and accountability.

In addition, I know we don't have the luxury of being able to train like professional athletes. We have to fit our running between family matters, work, and other commitments. We always work with your schedule and make sure that you don't have to worry about where/when you get your run in. We will help!

ABOUT COACH POOLE

Coach Poole 23 Portland Half

Hi! My name is Chris, and I developed a love for running when I ran cross country for the first time as a high school freshman to get in shape for basketball. I have over 15 years of running experience, along with 3 years as an assistant coach at Sherwood High School in Sherwood, OR. I competed collegiately at Linfield University in McMinnville, OR (NCAA D3).

Running has benefitted me both physically and mentally in ways I did not even realize was possible. I am a life long runner now, and a lot of this was initiated by the great coaches I have had in High School and College. I want to provide the same for you. This is why I wanted to started Poole Running Lab and become a Run Coach.

It is time for you to have the 1 on 1 training to help develop sustainable habits, build you to your fullest potential, and be able to achieve the goals you have set your sights on!
